R -- LAND SURVEYING SERVICES SOL FWS1-96013 DUE 020596. Contact Sandra Stevens, Procurement Assistant, 503/230-5905. Requirements contract on an as-needed basis to furnish all labor, services, equipment, materials, and supplies required to complete land surveys, prepare individual reports and maps for acquisition and marking of tracts of land within the state of Washington. Services include controlled resurvey and monumentation of each tract; all necessary research, ground control, and reports; and, all record maps, record descriptions, and recording processes will be accomplished by the contractor. Interested firms should submit two copies of of SF254 and 255 with an addendum addressing the evaluation factors. Offers will be evaluated based upon the following factors listed in order of importance: (1) specific relevant qualifications of those persons listed to perform under the contract which should include individual licensing and experience related to the area of consideration, (2) specific experience and familiarity with local conditions having possible effects on scheduling, costs, and complexity of contractual procedures in the area covered by this contract. Cadastral surveys of rural lands and riparian boundaries should be addressed, (3) Specific performance records on previous survey work performed for the Fish and Wildlife Service, other Federal, State, and local governmental agencies, and private industry illustrating the quality of the firm's work and the firm's ability to meet performance schedules and cost estimates, (4) specific type and amount of applicable field and office equipment available for this contract, (5) specific survey expertise in application to photogrammetric and aerial photo control problems, GPS experience, and computer-aided drafting.
