Project MT300021 includes but is not limited to supervision, plant, labor, equipment, materials and incidentals for construction of an Army Aviation Support Facility consisting of approximately 29,053 sf of administrative/hangar support spaces and 33,000 sf of maintenance hangar in one building and a separate storage hangar of 56,340 sf. Building construction includes concrete, masonry walls, structural steel, long-span steel joists, metal roof deck, woodwork, waterproofing, insulation, manufactured wall panels, single-ply roofing, sheet metal, HVAC, electrical, communications, alarm, and signal systems. Work also includes loading dock equipment, cranes, and fire protection systems. The sitework will require extensive grubbing, grading, engineered fill material placement and compaction, parking, lighting, fencing, and security provisions, and protection and stabilization of site located utilities. Surfacing includes 122,222 sf of asphalt and 722,875 sf of six (6) inch concrete. A fuel farm for the storage, receiving, and dispensing of 50,000 gallons of aviation fuel in underground storage tanks with detection systems, and associated above ground piping, equipment, and pump house. The estimated cost range of the project is between $10,000,000 and $15,000,00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1541. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17.0 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. Bid documents are available on or about February 1, 1996. Only written requests for drawings, and specifications, accompanied by a check in the amount of $117.50 will be accepted.
