The controller dedicated to this software should be equivalent to at least a 486 with 16 MB RAM, 500MB hard drive, and capable of running all DOS and Windows applications, Novell Network ready, capable of reading/writing to standard DOS floppy disks, and multitasking. This facility proposes to procure the above system from TA Instruments Inc., New Castle, DE 19720, on a sole source basis. This is due to the system needing to be compatible with existing TA Instrument's equipement. This solicitation will be negotiated on the basis of other than full and open competition pursuant to authority 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). There is no procurement history on this item.
