This procurement is for the construction of a clubhouse at the golf course at Arnold AFB (Arnold Engineering Development Center), Tennessee. The building shall be a one-story wood framed or metal stud framed structure with a roof made of pre-engineered wood trusses with plywood deck and asphalt shingles. The building exterior shall have vinyl siding and trim. The basic construction bid package includes providing a sanitary sewer connection, designing and installing complete HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and furnishing and installing kitchen equipment. Additive alternates include additional kitchen equipment, a concrete sidewalk and service drive, a concrete terrace, a fabric canopy, miscellaneous asphalt paving, and a metal roof in lieu of the roof specified in the basic bid package. Performance period shall be 270 calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. The estimated order of magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Note that the ''due date'' referenced above is an anticipated release date for the solicitation, not a bid opening date. Any responsible firm may submit a bid which will be considered. Foreign participation is authorized. Any firm submitting a request for the solicitation package should do so in writing and should indicate whether or not it is a small business and whether or not it is a small disadvantaged business.
