The work includes dredging approximately 1900 cubic yards of material from mooring areas, and the installation of new camels at U.S.Coast Guard Station Jonesport, ME. Dredged spoils shall be disposed upland at the Jonesport Landfill. An optional bid item is also included to dredge approximately 2300 cubic yards of material from areas identified on the drawings as Phase 2 areas. This option will be exercised during the initial phase of work at the discretion of the Government. Permit approvals are pending; site work shall not begin until all required permits have been received. The estimated cost of construction is between $100K and $250K.
