McCarthy at (612) 290-5409 The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, material, and equipment necessary for operation of one cutter head, hydraulic pipeline dredge and attendant plant for maintenance dredging. Work will be required between River Mile 0 and River Mile 853 on the Upper Mississippi River, between River Mile 0 and River Mile 291 on the Illinois Waterway, and between River Mile 0 and River Mile 0.8 on the Kaskaskia River. This procurement will be issued as a set-aside for small business concerns. SIC Code - 1629; Small Business Size Standard is $13.5 million. NOTE: To be considered small, a firm must perform the dredging of at least 40 percent of the yardage with its own dredging equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. Estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
