Development of an Ultra-Lightweight 350 GPM at 275 total head, engine driven, self-priming, centrifugal fuel pumping assembly. Pumping assembly not to exceed 4 person carry requirement of 147 lbs. Pump and engine may be separate modules. Engine shall operate using JP-8 or diesel fuel. Pumping assembly steady-state noise not to exceed 85 dB(A) at 39 inches from basic envelope of unit, operable in ambient temperature of +130 to -25 degrees F, damage free storage from ambient +160 to -65 degrees F. Inlet (suction) and outlet (discharge) ports shall be 4 inch quick-disconnect cam-lock couplings. Contractor required to have recent acceptable, demonstrable experience in field. Firms having interest, capability and background are invited to submit developmental capability, qualifications and experience statement. Responses should include sufficient information for determination of ability to perform required developmental task. Following review of statements of capability, Government may issue solicitation to those prospective sources having the most potential for performing effort. Respondents to this announcement will not be notified of results of capability review. Responses to this announcement must be provided NLT 35 calendar days from date of publication.
