T -- MICROFILMING AND CD-ROM PREPARATION OF TECHNICAL RECORDS Sol. T11-9502-001. Due 011096. POC: Kevin Keegan, 703/522-6065. Ecology and Environment, Inc., under contract #68-WO-0037 with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), performs Technical Assistance Team (TAT) activities at uncontrolled hazardous substance facilities in EPA Regions 5-10. As directed by EPA, the TAT provides engineering, scientific, technical, and managerial support for EPA's emergency response, removal, and prevention programs. Reports, documents, and other information resulting from assigned activities that require conversion to microfilm is estimated to total approximately 2,500,000 pages. A subset of the microfilm files will also be converted to CD-ROM. TAT prepares this information on hard copy plus other large and small format documents. This reference documentation is kept in file folders, soft bound manuals, or reports with plastic spiral bindings, videotape cassettes, etc. Under this proposed subcontract, the Subcontractor shall convert these records to a microfilm format, with a subset of the files also being converted to a CD-ROM format. It is planned that the solicitation for this proposed subcontract will be available in January. Notification of interest is to be received within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.
