Work consists of construction of structural supports for approximately 450 linear feet of vacuum jacketed refrigeration piping at the RHIC 4 o'clock area. Work includes concrete footings and piers, structural steel framing and associated excavation backfill. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $250,000 to $500,000. Estimated construction time is 12 weeks. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $40 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability. Requests for bid packages received without proper payment will not be acknowledged. (0356)
