59 -- PURCHASE OF AN INSTRUMENT PANEL SOL RFP-3589-POS-CSS. POC Brian L. Claytor, (314) 441-8086 Extension 3703. Qualified Sources Sought, SOL RFP 3589-POS-CSS. MK Ferguson Company (MK-F), is currently performing work under a Department of Energy Prime Contract at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (WSSRAP) located in St. Charles, Missouri. Qualified sources are being sought for the supply of several types of process equipment to be used in the construction of a Chemical Stabilization/Solidification Plant (CSS). Interested qualified parties should have the ability to construct equipment in accordance with hard specifications and stringent quality control procedures. Following is a brief description of the general types of equipment anticipated to be required under these procurement actions: (24) INSTRUMENT PANEL: The main instrument panel will be designed in two sections. The bottom section will be designed to include two typical PLC I/O chases, up to 35 single loop controllers and/or analog indicators, and an operator interface (OI) screen. The top section will be a graphical design representative of the process. This will include process equipment, process and utility piping, status lights and analog instrumentation references relative to the controllers and/or indicators located in the bottom section. Both sections will be pre-wired and ready for installation in the field. The two sections will bolt together once in the control room and a multi-pin connector will be used to electrically connect the top and bottom sections. (SIC 3625). Only full proposals will be accepted for the entire numbered package. It is anticipated that award will be in the form of a firm fixed price purchase order. This procurement action is set aside for small business, and suppliers should note in their letter of interest that they are a small business as it relates to the procurement package they are requesting.
