D -- REMEDIAL MAINTENANCE FOR TELEPHONES SOL F04699-96-R-0055 DUE 042296 POC For copy, contact the info office indicated., For additional information contact Wages.K8m/Pkocc/916-643-3797 Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, supervision, vehicles, and test equipment necessary to provide on-call, on- site remedial maintenance services at McClellan AFB CA for the following Government owned telephone systems: Inside wire and cable; intercom and paging systems, modems, single-line telephones, multi-line telephones, speaker phones, IDSN phones and NT1 units, 1A2 key equipment, Eagle-one, Executone, ITT 3100, AT&T Merlin, AT&T Merlin II, AT&T Partner, AT&T Spirit, AT&T System 25, AT&T Definity, and TIE/ONYX key sytems. Services to include troubleshooting, repair and installation for intra-building telephone and data telecommunications circuits, telephone key systems, and telephone instruments for approximately 450 buildings/locations on McClellan AFB, Camp Kohler, Lincoln Receiver and Davis Transmitter sites, Mather Hospital, and Capehart Housing Area. Principle period of Maintenance is 0700 to 1600 hrs Monday-Friday for routine calls. Emergency services required 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Two-hour response time required for all emergency calls. Estimated period of performance is from date of award to 30 Sep 96 with two one-year options. This is an all or none requirement. Descriptions, quantities, and locations and layout drawings are based on the best available data at the time. Actual solicitation requirements may differ. All responsible sources may submit a proposal/quotation that shall be considered by the Agency. Any response should state whether your organization (together with its affiliate) is a large or small business and whether it is a small disadvantaged business. All requests must state that they are not currently on the consolidated list of debarred, suspended and ineligible contractors or otherwise inelibible to receive Government contracts. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
