Oak Creek Streambank Stabilization Project, Coconino National Forest, Flagstaff, Arizona. This project consists of minor water diversion, dewatering of the work site, and placement of a loose rock rip-rap streambank stabilization structure on approximately 620 feet along the north bank of Oak Creek. This project is located on Oak Creek at the end of FS road 216A at the Crescent Moon Day Use Area. Directions from Sedona, Arizona would be West on Highway 89A approximately 4 miles to FS Road 216, South on FS 216 approx. 2 miles to FS 216A, and then East on 216A to Crescent Moon Day Use Area.
