The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a Contractor to provide all the labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to to remove steel structures, concrete foundations, electrical equipment, and transmission lines, installing Government furnished equipment (69 kV transformer), vertical switchboard sections, station battery system, battery chargers, RTU interface rack, furnish and install interrupter and disconnecting switches, steel structures, concrete foundation conduit, insulated conductors and cables, bus systems, remodeling existing service building, and remove and reinstall the approach span. This project is located near Grand County, Colorado. The estimated order of magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation will be issued on double-sided, high-density DOS-formatted 3.5-inch floppy diskettes. The IFB and specifications are formatted using WordPerfect 5.1. The solicitation may be obtained in one of the following ways: Free of charge: Solicitation & specifications on diskette without drawings, $10.00 nonrefundable fee: Solicitation & specifications on diskette with drawings on hardcopy; or $20.00 nonrefundable fee: Solicitation, specifications, drawings on hardcopy. All work for all of the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) must be completed within 210 calendar days after the Agency issuance of the ''Notice to Proceed.'' All the CLINs will be delivery FOB destination. There will be only one award made from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an ''all or none basis.'' This solicitation will be issued on or about March 4, 1996. The projected bid opening date is on or about April 9, 1996. This proposed procurement is unrestricted (full and open). All responsible Business Concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. All requests must be in writing.
