Kay, Contracting Officer ADP Telecommunications and Transmission Services--The Regional Contracting Department Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to place a contract with Globel OnLine Japan (GOL), Ohshima Bldg., 1-56-1 Higashi Nakano, Nakano-ku, Tokyo, Japan 164 for Line Support inclusive of providing experienced support staff in English and Japanese at a minimum of 16 hours per day, 6 days a week especially during peak usage hours (1600-2100), on-site emergency technical support, ongoing training to DIPCJ staff, connectivity for Internet Services including World Wide Web (WWW), personal private E-mail accounts, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), TELNET and other standard Internet functions. Global OnLine will provide proper bandwidth and connectivity back into state-side Internet as well as general World Wide Internet capability. Period of performance is 01 March 1996 through 31 December 1996 with two (2) twelve-month option periods. The Government intends to include the option clause FAR 52.217-8 in the solicitation.
