The American Embassy in Kampala Unganda requires the operation and management of security guard services in order to prevent unauthorized access, maintain order, deter criminal and terrorist attacks against employees, dependents, property, and provide all equipment, management, administration, and direct labor personnel to accomplish all work as required in this contract. Services will be performed in Kampala, Uganda. Approximate manhour requirements are supervisor 52,000 hours per year, senior guard 254,000 hours per year, and guard 657,000 hours per year. The requirements may change depending on the fund availability in forthcoming periods. Solicitation is for one base year and three one-year periods at the option of the government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation is not ready to be issued. The solicitation will be sent on diskette in MicroSoft Word 6.0.
