COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JANUARY 25,1996 PSA#15171996 AUTOMOTIVE LAND NAVIGATION CONFERENCE, APRIL 2-3, 1996 The U.S.
Army National Automotive Conference (NAC), in conjunction with the
Environmental Research Institute of Michigan, will host the 1996
Automotive Land Navigation Conference on April 2-3, 1996 at the Hyatt
Regency Hotel, Dearborn, MI. The purpose of this conference is to
stimulate the exchange of information between the Global Positioning
Systems (GPS) community and the developers and users of this technology
in automotive/transportation systems. The 1996 program will overview
the technologies, including: GPS system characteristics, receiver
systems, operator displays, Graphical Information Systems (GIS)
database products, vehicle integration issues and joint
Government/Industry programs to reduce costs. The conference will also
feature displays from both industry and government organizations on
hardware, software and services. The conference registration fee is
$95.00 per person and all registrations must be confirmed by Friday,
