The synopsis is being modified to reflect the following change. A draft RFP for this solicitation will be issued. The expected release date of the draft will be on or about 26 Feb 96. Any written submissions in response to the previous synopsis for this acquisition which was synopsized under DATM01-96-#-0003 will receive a copy of the draft RFP. This solicitation will be for non-personal services to support the test and evaluation mission of the US Army TEXCOM Experimentation Center. The primary place of performance will be at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. The contractor will be required to provide personnel to staff and operate a Scientific Support Laboratory (SSL) to perform the following major functions: Test and Experimentation Planning and Operations: Engineering, Fabrication, Installation, Removal and Maintenance of Test Instrumentation; Administrative and Instrumentation Computer Support Services. Contractor tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following: provide technical analysis and recommendations for programmed test methodologies, data and resource requirements, data collection, reduction, analysis, documentation and reporting, operate a computer based Data Management Center, and provide installation, software engineering, operation and maintenance of the TEC Automated Support Network System.
