HYDRAULICS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - PRIVATIZATION OF HYDRAULICS WORKLOAD - Sacramento Air Logistics Center/McClellan AFB CA. The Government is requesting Industry Comments on a possible acquisition to privatize the hydraulics workload currently accomplished at Sacramento Air Logistics Center. This is a request for information only. This is not a Request for Proposals or an indication that the Air Force intends to contract for services. The Air Force will not pay for information received in response to this request for information. The hydraulics workload involves the overhaul of DOD Standard families of hydraulic actuators, cylinders, dampers, motors, pumps, reservoirs, servo valves, valves and hydraulic driven generators. An additional workload of screwjacks and winches is included, which, while not hydraulically operated are technologically compatible with the overhaul of hydraulic components.
