Scope of work: The general scope of work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and services to complete the rerouting of existing piping and installations of new equipment and devices and appropriate ``tie-ins'' at three main water service entrances at the James A Farley Processing and Distribution Center. Work shall involve repiping, RPZ Backflow preventers, control valves, gate valves, flow detectors, leak detection system, associated power and signal wiring, and alarm consoles. Work also includes installations of OSHA approved platforms. This facility is occupied and operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All work shall be phased and scheduled to minimize service interruptions. Offeror must have a minimum of five (5) years mechanical (plumbing) experience and must have satisfactorily completed at least three (3) projects of similar size and scope.
