Firm fixed price requirements type contract for the lease of a best estimated quantity of 250 stainless steel IM 101 bulk petroleum containers. Services under this contract are required to be performed in the greater Houston Texas area. Containers will be used to transport and store thermally stable jet fuel (JPTS) and JP-7 jet fuel in containers dedicated to these products. Containers will be transported to many CONUS and overseas locations. Containers may be exposed to weather for extended periods of time while in the government's possession. Container capacity shall be 23,000 to 24,000 liters. Containers shall be a single tank configuration fabricated from material conforming to AISI316TI/316L or equivalent. Each tank shall be equipped with a sealable top hatch, lockable and sealable valvehandles and headers and, with standard 3 inch OPW (Ohio Pattern Works) or equivalent bottom offloading manifold with quick disconnect fitting. Adapter shall be compatible with standard Air Force single point aircraft ground refueling nozzle (NSN: 4930-00-310-4858). Container shall meet all ASTM, DOT and ISO requirements for a bulk fuel container and be tranportable on a standard bulk fuel container trailer. Containers must be steam cleaned, dried and free of residual deposits prior to delivery. Various sources. IAW DD Form 1423-1. Government furnished drawings and specifications are available.
