In support of the Information Sciences and Technology Branch, NASA/GSFC intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Quorum Communication Incorporated of Irvine, TX for a GMS/GEOS geosynchronous satellite acquisition and ingest system. Quorum Communication Incorporated has been identified as the only company that has this system which is (1) compatible with an IVAS array processor and the MacTac decommutator; (2) capable of interfacing via DCL commands to a VMS/VAX system for pass scheduling and image product generation; and (3) conforms to System 600 IIS formats. The ingest software must be modular to conform with TK/TCL Graphical User Interface (GUI) programming. Request for Quotation (RFQ5-68104/985) will be issued as the vehicle to obtain this item.
