The project consists of furnishing manpower, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary for Addition to the Air Mail Facility (AMF), Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The scope of work involves 8100 S.F. cartway addition to the south of the present building. Site work consists of grade preparation, asphalt paving, landscapeing and lighting. The new building addition consists of a pre-engineered matal structure with prefinished wall and roof panels. Foundations and the cartway floor are of cast-in-place concrete. The new cartway is unheated, but contains new lighting. Modifications to the present building include the construction of a new entry vestibule and an extension of the present look out gallery. These modifications require some minor revisions to the present hot water heating system and the inclusion of new lighting and power and associated work as further defined in the United States Postal Service plans and specifications. The work location is the AMF, 5500 Howell Ave., Milwaukee, WI 55237-9741. The estimated cost range is between $330,000.00 and $400,000.00 with a construction completion time of 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $50 per set, nonrefundable.
