This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written Solicitation will not be used. This is a request for quotation, number SP4410-96-Q-1011. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal acquisition circular 90-34. CLIN 0001 is for the services of twenty(20) temporary employees foreleven(11) workdays (Monday-Friday). Duties include receiptprocessing, consisting of opening boxes, counting, and verifyingcontents, relocating contents in designated boxes. The following safety equipment is required: Steel toe shoes, leather gloves, safety glasses. Items to be lifted weigh from 10-50 pounds. Employees shall perform the work at the DRMO Mechanicsburg, PA. Navy SPCC Mechanicsburg, Bldg 206, 5450 Carlisle Pike, PO box 2020 Mechanicsburg, PA 17055-0788. Employees are required for Ten(10) hour days, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM. With a 30 minute lunch break. Period of performance to begin within two(2) days of award of contract. Wage determination NO. 82-80069, Rev 12, dated 12/05/94 isapplicable. The labor rate for a laborer in the Northeast region is $9.69.
