CBD NARRATIVE B -- SUPPORT OF GOVERNMENT SCIENTISTS AT THE FRED HUTCHINSON CANCER RESEARCH CENTER, SEATTLE, WA, NO1-BC-65017-01, David M. Keefer, Contracting Officer, 301-496-8628. The National Cancer Institute, Division of Basic Sciences, Intramural Research Program, intends to enter into negotiations with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC), Seattle, WA. The proposed contract action is to establish an NCI field station at FHCRC and to acquire laboratory space, technical and administrative support, and miscellaneous materials/supplies/services to support Government Scientists working on the FHCRC premises. The Government intents to solicit and negotiate with the single source identified above under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
