Work includes removing 68 casement windows of various sizes and replacing them with new double-hung, tilt-wash, vinyl clad wood windows; removing and replacing 2 existing 3'-0'' x 6'8'' metal doors and sidelights with new insulated steel doors and new sidelights; removing and replacing an existing 6'-5'' x 7'-0'' sliding glass door with a new sliding glass door, and incidental related work. The windows and doors to be replaced are located on the main station building and the shop building at USCG Station Provincetown. Both buildings are two story structures. Estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. SIC code is 1542. Performance time is 120 calendar days. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The max. line of credit is $500,000.
