West, 907/753-2551 The Alaska District Corps of Engineers intends to extend the existing Job Order Contract with Brown and Root Services Corporation, Anchorage, Alaska, for a three month period, while the Government is soliciting and awarding a new Job Order Contract. The contract is to furnish continued support to the Directorate of Public Works. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement in the form of a letter. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all submittals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
