Notice of Availability of Request for Proposal: This is a notification for commercial/industrial firms capable/interested in the availability of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for providing a shredder system to be used by the Battelle, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (Pacific Northwest) in it's project with the US Navy. The equipment will be used by Pacific Northwest to shred and reduce the volume of approximately 35,000 empty napalm canisters currently in storage at the US Navy Naval Ordinance Center in Fallbrook, California. The current projected date for release of the RFP is February 29, 1996. Firms interested in receiving the RFP should submit a request in writing to Mr. John G.
