Z -- THE POSTAL SERVICE IS SOLICITING CONTRACTORS FOR THE BREEZEWAY RENOVATION AT ITS HEADQUARTERS BUILDING IN WASHINGTON. The Postal Service is soliciting contractors for the Breezeway Renovation at the United States Postal Service Headquarters Building, located at 475 L'Enfant Plaza W., S.W., Washington, D.C. 20260-6444. The award of this contract will be based on the following criteria: (1) Offerors must provide evidence of successful completion and experience in similar projects in excess of $100,000. The offeror must submit six (6) valid references of similar renovation projects in excess of $100,000 completed in the past five years, with a brief description of the project. The offeror's references will be evaluated for quality of performance and timely completion of the project. The offeror that meets the criteria set forth in the specifications, scope of work, drawings, and offers the best value to the Postal Service will be awarded this contract. Most of the work will be performed during normal working hours. Proposal submission packages and related contract documents will be available to offerors on March 7, 1996 from the U.S. Postal Service, Design & Construction, Room 1P142, 475 L'Enfant Plaza, W., S.W., Washington, D.C. 20260-6444.
