Coast Guard Research and Development Center plans to procure on a full and open basis ERDAS Geographic Information System (GIS) Software for its Iceberg Data Management and Prediction System (IDMPS) computer system. The software consists of: ERDAS Imagine Production version 8.2 for the HP/UX 10.0 operating system; ERDAS Radar Module for Imagine for the HP/UX 10.0 operating system; ERDAS Vector Module for Imagine for the HP/UX 10.0 operating system, ERDAS Imagine Production version 8.2 for the Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 operating system; and the ERDAS Radar Module for Imagine for the Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 operating system. Support software will be provided through ERDAS's SSS 1st seat license program for one year. The license shall provide telephone support for at least two people, software upgrades, and documentation upgrades. No telephone requests shall be accepted. All requests for a bid package must be in writing and addressed to the Contracting Officer, U. S. Coast Guard Academy, 15 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320-4195.
