14 -- MISSILE AFT SEAL SOL N00164-96-Q-0186 DUE 040196 POC Contact - Terry Davis, 812-854-3704, telefax 812-854-3465 or Mr. Doug McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires 2600 each aft seals to be manufactured in accordance (IAW) with U.S.Army Missile Command drawings 10224919-1, 10224924, 10189635-2, and 10191580. Eachseal shall consist of a humidity indicator window, seal spacer, diaphragm, and seal ring. Materialshall be sheet, laminated, plastic-aluminum per MIS-13950. The assembly shall not leak morethan .0024 standard cubic inches air per minute when tested at a pressure differential of 4.0 +/- .2pounds per square inch. The seals shall be assembled by the contractor IAW the drawings.Delivery shall be FOB destination to NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, Crane, IN within 60 daysafter contract award. This procurement is being issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures(SAP). It is anticipated that a formal Request For Quotes will be issued. In accordance withSAP, this procurement is exclusively reserved for Small Business concerns IAW Alternate I ofFAR clause 52.219-6. See Note 1.
