The requirement in general is for the successful contractor to provide all necessary supplies, equipment, services and labor to construct a USPS-owned Carrier Annex/Mail Processing Facility of approximately 37,336 sf on a USPS-owned site of approximately 148,471 sf in the City of Twin Falls, Idaho. Construction will feature site work, landscaping, site utilities, paving, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, elecrical cmu masonry, structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, roofing, metal framing, and gypsum board assemblies, finish carpentry, painting, acoustical ceiling assemblies, interior finishes, door and window assemblies, insulation systems, fire protection, and loading dock equipment. The time for completion of construction is 180 calendar days after the notice to proceed is issued. Only those firms with proven expertise and available resources are encouraged to submit a proposal. The facility must be completed within the specified period. The construction cost range is: $2,160,000 to $2,930,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about March 4, 1996 for a non-refundable fee of $75.00.
