Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: Provide temporary repair to the Feedwater Piping System at the Central Heating and Power Plant, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Major portions of the treated water piping and control systems will be replaced to include piping. Major portions of the low pressure portion of the boiler feedwater system will be replaced to include piping. Install a temporary water treatment system bypass to ensure continuous operation of the plant and low pressure feedwater system. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services.
