performed under this project consists of providing the labor,
equipment, and materials to upgrade the fire sprinklers to comply with
NFPA STD 231C and KSC-STFD-F-0004D in the High Storage Rack area,
increase the water density around the racks in the AS/RS and VPSA
areas, construct a one-hour fire rated enclosure between the VPSA
offices and the warehouse, provide an automatic sprinkler system in the
new one-hour VPSA office area, rearrange the fire pump feeder circuit
so that the circuit will be ahead of all facility disconnects, provide
monitoring of the fire pump through the Complex Control Center,
provide drainage and storage of potential spills in the POL Barrel
Shed. NOTE: Funding is not presently certified for this procurement,
award of this project will be made contingent upon ''Availability of
Funds''. SIC CODE 3569.Construction Magnitude is between $500,000 to
$1,000,000. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business
concerns. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal
which shall be considered by the agency. This procurement will be
conducted under the NASA Midrange Pilot Test Program approved by the
