Monitoring wells will range in depth from 230 feet to 700 feet to monitor specific water-bearing zones. Existing production wells were drilled by direct mud-rotary drilling and encountered fine-grained fluvial-lacustrine deposits. Drilling conditions for these monitoring wells are anticipated to be similar. Drilling program will include the geophysical (borehole) logging of the deepest boring. There are no hazardous or toxic waste or contaminated ground water issues associated with this project. This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 8999. The size standard for this SIC code is: $5.0. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Plans and specifications are available on or about 28 Mar 96. There is no charge for specifications or drawings; however, only one set is available per offeror as there are a limited number available.
