The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to award a contract for overflow tele-registration services. FEMA receives telephone calls from disaster victims. After gathering information from the victims, FEMA personnel located in Denton, TX and Berryville, VA, process disaster assistance applications on individual work stations. In extreme disaster conditions, FEMA's tele-registration capacity may not be sufficient to handle all incoming calls. Therefore, when FEMA's tele-registration capacity is maximized, a contractor would retrieve calls and process applications from its own facility. A turnkey operation is being sought.
