70 -- RENEWAL OF LICENSE SUPPORT FOR PROPRIETARY SYBASE SOFTWARE POC POC: Virginia A. Green, Contract Specialist (703) 607-6915 or Contracting Officer, Mark J. Bogart, (703) 607-6920. The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to renew software maintenance support for Sybase software licenses which are proprietary to Integrated Computer Solutions. These are site licenses for the Sybase RDBMS, which are required to support the continued addition of Army C2 sites to the Global Command and Control System (GCCS). The license support will be for 60 ea, Sybase SQL Servers and a secondary software copy fee. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Responses must be received within 15 days from date of this publication. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor, and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent, or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. Interested sources may respond by written request furnishing clear and convincing data substantiating their ability to furnish the Government's requirement, including technical and pricing data.
