Little, Inc. of Cambridge, MA to identify and qualify commercially available organic/inorganic coatings (including Hard Carbon (diamond-like) coatings) to protect Germanium from sea water corrosion; to fabricate electrochemical cells for accelerated sea water corrosion analysis; to fabricate a full scale electrochemical cell for quality assurance purposes; and to identify and qualify electrophoretic coatings for systems repair. This is a follow-on contract for electrochemical technology base work conceived and developed by Arthur D. Little, Inc. This is a sole source acquisition authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1). Any company that is interested in this requirement is invited to request a copy of this solicitation which provides more detailed information and additional specifications. If the company, after reviewing the solicitation, believes it has the capability to meet the Government's minimum specifications, it may submit a proposal which must contain technical and cost data which shall be reviewed by the Government.
