This is a notice of intent to place an order with Sony Regional Service Center for repair of fourteen (14) Sony Laser Disc Players, Model LDP 1000 by replacing the optical base and adjusting the video and servo amplifier circuit boards. Players will be shipped in quantities of 3, 3, 3, 3 and 2 from the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA 92278-0124. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Requests for solicitation packages will not be accepted. If no affirmative responses are received to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the government is available, a contract will be entered into with the above named vendor.
