HUD intends to award a contract to perform on-site field reviews of appraisals on an as-needed basis for the Indianapolis, Indiana HUD Office. The contractor shall be a State licensed or certified appraiser. The reviews will examine the accuracy and quality of appraisals performed by authorized appraisers. Some reviews will require interior examinations of the properties. Offerors must demonstrate experience with valuation principles and procedures and the capacity to perform the estimated quantity of reviews. The contract will cover the geographic area of Northern Indiana consisting of 30 counties. One contract is expected to be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The contract period is from the date of award through September 30, 1997, with two one year options to extend the contract. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 6531. The size standard is $1.5 million. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside.
