The Sumter National Forest plans to contract for Handtool Felling of residual saplings and brush on timber harvesting sites on the Andrew Pickens Ranger District, Sumter National Forest, Oconee County, South Carolina. The work will consist of using chain saws, hand tools, or similar cutting devices while performing the work described in the Technical Specifications of the solicitation. The density of saplings and brush designated for cutting under this contract will vary in each contract area. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, repair and maintenance, labor and supplies, except those listed as Government furnished property, to perform all work specified.
