This effort is a total small business set-aside. The contractor shall serve as the Defense Nuclear Agency's (DNA) focal point for advanced EMP testing of fixed, ground-based command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) facilities, strategic mobile and tactical systems, communications networks, and electronic equipment to include Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and electronic components. This effort also provides comprehensive user technical assistance aimed at demonstrating improved technology, test methods, and criteria set forth in MIL-STD-188-125A. Technical assistance to the Military Departments is to be carried out on operational fixed and tactical C4I facilities. Technical assistance to the user community will: 1) resolve technology issues for effective implementation of the standard and its companion handbook; and 2) develop improvements to the standard and companion handbook.
