IMPROVEMENTS Sol GS05P96GAC0191. Due 053096. Contact, Suzanne Delich,
Contract Specialist, 317/226-5514. Scope of work consists of but is not
limited to the removal and replacement of all roofs with fully adhered
single ply EPDM roof over new insulation. Roof related work will also
include relocating four (4) roof drains on first floor roofs,
replacement of one (1) roof hatch, repair of rooftop equipment curbs
and repair of masonry parapets. The work will also include removal of
existing wood window sashes and frames on first and second floors and
replacement with custom colored aluminum clad sashes and frames to
replicate original historic window design. Some interior window trim
replacement will be required. New window blinds will be required at all
window openings first and second floor. Basement window frames and iron
grills will be stripped and painted. One exterior basement double door
and frame will be replaced. Interior HVAC work will include repair of
existing air handling units in first floor ceiling space to isolate
sound and vibration. Repairing of spalling concrete and installation of
new fencing at loading dock platform, and replacement in kind of
original sheet metal fascia at loading dock roof will required as well.
The completion time for this project is two hundred and 10 (210)
calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Estimated cost is between
$250,000 and $500,000. Specifications will be available on or about
April 30, 1996. Negotiated proposals will opened privately on May 30,
1996. The proposed contract is being procured as a total small business
set-aside. Proposals are solicited only from small business concerns.
Proposals received from concerns that are not small business concerns
shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The Small
Business Size Standard for this project is $17 million. To request
