Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay will be purchasing a Horizontal Baler. Size: 60'' X 30'' X 48''. Minimum platen force of 124,000 LBF. Conveyor system with feed hopper, cleats, conveyor controls, and minimum conveyor width of 48''. Must bale without a fluffer. Minimum bale weight of corrugated material of 1200 lbs. Silicon all electrical openings from the panel box to the limit switches. 20-25 hp. Minimum feed opening of 54''x 35''. Must be able to bale high grade paper, plastics, cans, corrugated material and shred. Maintenance personnel readily available to avoid unnecessary down time should we have a problem. Include installation, baling wire ties, 6'' bore cylinder, minimum one year warranty on parts and labor. Maximum working height of 144''. Maximum working length of 348'' from (and including) the hopper to the end of the door when open. Maximum working width of 120''. Installation will include on-site operator training. Baler and conveyor must run at 208 volts. Baler must not exceed 60 amps at 208 volts. Conveyor must not exceed 10 amps at 208 volts. Must be 3 phase electric. Must use no more than 6 wire ties per bale. Wire ties required must not exceed 14' in length. Wire tie requirement must not be heavier than 13 gauge. Baler must fully eject completed bale out of the baler to avoid operator injury. Bales must tie off on the short end to hold paper and plastic bales more tightly.
