Prevention contemplates awarding a contract to conduct surveillance of
occupational exposures and infections among hospital-based health care
workers using Government software. This system consists of the
following surveillance modules: Health Care Workers (HCW) Baseline
Assessment; Routine Tuberculin Skin Testing; Exposures to Blood/Body
Fluids and Bloodborne Pathogens;Exposures to and Infections With
Vaccine-Preventable Diseases; Exposures to Infectious Tuberculosis
Patients/HCWs; Annual HCW Survey; and Annual Hospital Survey. The
scheduled issue date is approximately May 6, 1996. NO TELEPHONE
REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED; only written requests for this solicitation
will be honored. Written requests should cite RFP No. 200-96-0524(P).
