This project is intended for award to The Otis Elevator Company, based on a proprietary elevator diagnostic tool, the Otis Elevonic 401, a controller which has been legally prohibited per court injunction, from being sold, leased, copied, licensed, repaired, or reinitialized by anyone other than The Otis Elevator Company. This notice is being publicized in order to enable any firm which is interested in being considered for the elevator upgrade project to indicate its interest and have an opportunity to submit a proposal for this project. It should be noted that proposals submitted for this project should include an alternative means by which to access the elevators for the purposes of this project, excluding usage of the Otis Elevonic 401.
