The Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire, on a brand- name-or-equal basis, Anderson Jacobson 2853 dial-up modem cards as follows: (1) 2853-AMF Dial-Up Modem Cards - 48 EA. (2) SMTR-01 Smart Rack with Power Supply - 3 EA. (3) SMTR-PS1 Redundant Power Supply One per rack in addition to power supply that comes with the Smart Rack - 3 EA. (4) SMTR-CC1 Master Controller Unit - 1 EA. (5) SMTR-CC2 Slave Control Unit - 2 EA. Public Debt will consider offers of equal equipment which meets the follow criteria: 1) 100% compatible with Anderson Jacobson 2853 dial-up modem cards, 2) 100% compatible with both Harris Adacom and McData Cluster controller units, 3) Rack mountable, 4) Asynchronous operation to 115.2 Kbps, 5) Expanded AT commands, 6) Minimum V.34 transmission speed, 7) 2 Wire dial up operation, 8) 100 number storage/10 stored configuration, 9) Remote configuration monitor/control, 10) Synchronous/Asynchronous operation, 11) V.54 test diagnostics, 12) AT & V.25 bis autodialers, 13) Unattended automatic dial back-up, 14) Half duplex simulation (V.13), 15) Automatic fallback/fallforward, 16) Loss of carrier redial feature, 17) Disconnect cause codes, 18) On screen AT command profile display, 19) Flash memory design, 20) Callback, answerback and pass through security, 21) Manual code and password access, 22) Operator and supervisor password, 23) Provide a way to access, re-configure and control each rack (16 devices per rack).
