The proposed procurement consists of providing all the necessary materials, equipment and labor required to design, fabricate and install a mezzanine office space (approximately 2,730 sq. ft.) inside an existing building. The dimensions of this mezzanine office structure are 108'-7'' x 25' -3''. Work to be performed shall include structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical. Mechanical work includes installation of water source heat pump, duct work, condenser, condensate piping and sprinklers. Electrical work includes lighting, power, fire protection and telecommunication. The finished structure shall meet all applicable national codes. Prospective contractors are required to possess a Virgin Class A license to submit a bid in response to this solicitation. The Government's estimated price range for the work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Construction will take place at the FEMA Mt. Weather Emergency Assistance Center, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Rd. (State R5. 601), Bluemont, VA, Loudoun County. A firm-fixed-price construction contract is anticipated to be awarded. A Prebid Conference and Site Visit will be scheduled, the exact date and time will be identified in the solicitation, Section L. The period of performance will be 160 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
