Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Project PRA-DEWA 14(3),218(1) consists the replacement of the U.S. Route 209 and the Dingmans Falls Road bridges over Dingmans Creek. The work also includes grading, drainage, hot asphalt concrete pavement, aggregate base, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Removal of Bridges, Lump Sum; Structural Excavation, 1,920 Cubic Meters; Structural Concrete, Classes A(AE) and D(AE), 850 Cubic Meters; Precast Prestressed Concrete Structural Members, Slab, AASHTO Type S4-36, 140 Meters; Precast Prestressed Concrete Structural Members, I-Beams, Non-Standard, 180 Meters; Reinforcing Steel, 37,200 Kilograms; Aggregate Base, Grading C or D, 2,420 Metric Tons; Hot Asphalt Concrete Pavement, 1,560 Metric Tons; Temporary Traffic Signal System, Lump Sum. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 and has a construction completion date of August 15, 1997.
