D -- CREATION OF DIGITIZED DATA SOL RFIDMA0002 DUE 050396 POC Mr. Greg Brouk or Ms. Antoinette Hamel This Request For Information (RFI) is to determine the level of interest in the creation of digitized data to be used for the production of Arc Digitized Raster Graphic CD-ROMs. ADRG's are designed to provide support and computer readable digital images of hard-copy graphic products for mission planning systems and digital moving map systems. Production capabilities must include the ability to scan, control and transform hardcopy charts or digital repromat composite data into the format described in Military Specification for ARC Digitized Raster Graphic MIL-A-89007, 22 February 1990. In addition to the operations mentioned above, interested parties would be responsible for providing the Ancillary Data and the jewel case liners and information booklets for each ADRG dataset. Jewel case liners and information booklets must conform to Defense Mapping Agency Technical Instructions and Quality Requirements for Printing and Finishing of Jewel Case Liners and Information Booklets (Inserts) for Mapping Charting and Geodetic (MC&G) Compact Disc Storage Media, DMA TI/2DJ/001.
