The proposed action is for one solid state amplifier with an option for up to two additional amplifiers. The amplifier(s) shall support a wide range of RF frequencies. The Operating frequency range of the amplifier(s) shall be 32 - 36 Ghz with a 10 watt output power. The amplifier(s) shall be operated typically at 1 - 2 Mhz PRF and a 50 - 100 nSec pulse width. The amplifier(s) shall perform over the temperature range from 0 to 50 degrees C and at relative humidity up to 95%. All components of the amplifier(s) subassembly shall be mounted together and delivered as one unit. The period of performance for the basic effort is four months. Options for up to two additional amplifiers may be exercised anytime after contract award through twelve months with delivery within four months after option exercise. This solicitation synopsis replaces the solicitation synopsis for DAAL01-96-R-9754 previously published on 5 Mar 96.
